New Frontiers is a mix of curated and emergent conversations within an intimate gathering, aligned with our mission of supporting New Zealand as an “Incubation Nation”, from which to develop, grow and globally launch integrated solutions to global challenges.

With the help of our friends at the Hillary Institute of International Leadership, we will also be launching the Edmund Hillary Fellowship to the world, to put New Zealand on the map as a hub for high-impact innovation, and bring together incredible people to lead change from New Zealand.

We will host 40-60 from overseas, and 120-150 participants from around New Zealand, through a mix of invitations and an open application process. New Frontiers participants come from varied backgrounds, and will include entrepreneurs and investors (including potential candidates for EHF), technologists and inventors, artists, scientists and educators, farmers, senior government leaders, cultural leaders, philanthropists, and many more.

In a mix of workshops, facilitated conversations, keynote talks, and fun activities, we will be creating an open environment for each participant to listen, share, learn, absorb, integrate and exchange ideas, on the types of global challenges that can be solved from New Zealand. We will explore the edges of creativity for existing and new industries, including agriculture, digital media, climate, health, government, investment, and technology. There will be space for spontaneous conversation, emergent connection and chilling out around the farm.

New Frontiers is designed to facilitate deep connections and collective exploration of areas in which New Zealand can create significant global impact. We have outstanding participants, speakers, and facilitators every day to stimulate and inspire your thinking, along with activities to allow meaningful connections, and mental and physical rejuvenation.

Most participants are staying on the farm or nearby during the entire New Frontiers programme, creating an immersive experience for everyone.

New Frontiers is co-created by you, the participants. Various participants will be speaking, facilitating planned and emergent discussions, and actively playing a part in shaping the experience for everyone else. The days are designed for mutual-learning, cross-pollination of diverse perspectives, collective envisioning and developing pathways for action.

Stay tuned for daily programme announcements, coming soon.

At New Frontiers, you will have many opportunities to relax, unwind, get inspired, and enjoy time away from your day-to-day life to connect with your inner child. Many past participants have found this part of the programme rejuvenating.
